Alan teaches a 6-week course based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), a program originating from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre.
Sessions 1.5 to 2 hours

This is a highly successful and effective course. Attendees may be experiencing difficulties in life relating to low mood, stress, anxiety, and more. Often, there seems to be no way out from the endless rumination and overthinking as we try to mentally solve emotional problems.
The course, which is a combination of teaching and practice, helps individuals to discover the art of ceasing mental struggle with the constant self-directed criticism of the mind. They can learn to unpick unhelpful thoughts and distance themselves from them, allowing themselves to be free and who they really are.
Mindfulness practice offers an effective way of turning the tables from being imprisoned by our own thoughts to enjoying the moment, finding joy in life once again.
