Mindfulness at Work
Perfect for: Companies wanting to improve productivity and profit.
Problems helping: Absenteeism, presenteeism (I’m at work, but I am really not), team dysfunction, employees work/life balance and mental health.
We are all running at 100 miles an hour, all day long, week after week. Employee burnout is on the rise, and this is not just a problem for the individual. It is a problem for company sales and profit. It is a vicious circle, employees in seats and not driving the busness forward but into the ground - the company and themselves.
We live in a frantic world for sure, demands on companise and their people will never reduce, but it is possible for employees to thrive even in this chaotic environment.
The secret is to give employees the training and the tools to be able to look after themselves and yet deliver more. Find out how by reading on, or simply get in touch today.

When the individual is in this 'always on the go' state, the over-stressed brain does not function properly. Chronic stress causes overly emotional thinking, which can be defensive than constructive. Problem solving and crativity go out of the window, as do relationships, and of course, performance. Sickness due to mental health is now seen as being the top reason for absence.
Unum UK (employee benefits provider) states that 48% of employers say the leading cause of staff absence is due to poor mental health.
The CIPD also reported that stress-related absence affected a staggering 76% of respondents in their survey on illness.
Not only are incidences growing, but stress-related absences are for longer periods of time than for colds and flu.
It's getting worse and needs attention, not just tick-box lip-service. There is another way.
We are all vulnerable to chronic stress (the kind that doesn't go away) in our busy workplaces. This also leads to sub-optimal behaviour, decision-making, lack of creativity and balance. We can start to improve general health via de-stressing techniques (the stress hormone cortisol deactivates the immune system)
Picture an environment where employees see the world in a more positive way, are more creative, empathetic to team-mates, making decisions without procrastination, and choosing their responses better in potentially inflammatory situations.
Here’s how I can help your teams do all of this in a healthy way...
Teach them rapid de-stress techniques, a reboot for the mind.
Learn mindfulness attitudes which form a part of everyday behaviour.
Give tools to be aware of unhealthy habits – and change them for the good (like people, businesses have their habitual routines too).
This is ideal training for individuals and teams, and it's not just for them - it is for your bottom line.
